Through our application process, each business listed in the Green Pages is screened to assure that:

1. The products and/or services they sell are more environmentally friendly than conventional alternatives.
2. They take steps to minimize the ecological footprint of their business operations.

To be included in ECOSLO's Green Pages, a business must meet or exceed the criteria established for that category and have a local presence in San Luis Obispo County. The criteria used to measure business performance is based on the Eco-Audit, an environmental performance assessment tool for small businesses developed by the Environmental Center of San Luis Obispo County.
